2013 Toyota Avalon Takes 2012 NY Auto Show by Storm

The 2012 New York International Auto Show took over the Big Apple recently, and we're still left speechless by the unveiling of the 2013 Toyota Avalon. Though the current 2012 Toyota Avalon is certainly impressive, the 2013 model is possibly even more so. The all-new Avalon premium mid-size sedan is now more well-appointed than ever before, and it showcases a much sleeker design, too.

For the first time in a long time, Toyota fell short of being the world's largest automaker in 2011, but the company doesn't plan to let that happen again. Toyota is targeting record sales throughout the entire Toyota Group for 2012. In fact, Toyota hopes to both its Japanese and overseas markets to grow twice as large and to sell an amazing 9.58-million vehicles worldwide (including vehicles in the Daihatsu Motor Hino Motor franchises). This would represent a 21 percent increase from 2011 sales numbers and would top the automaker's current record sales year of 9…

U.S. to Become Global Export Base for Toyota Motor Co.

The low value of the U.S. dollar hasn't been beneficial to most of its citizens over the past few years, but it is good news for Japanese automaker Toyota, which is seeing extremely high yen value in its home country. Currently, Toyota sends U.S.-made vehicles to nineteen countries, but the company aims to significantly increase that volume to a total of 16,700 units. That may not sound like many vehicles here in the auto-hungry U.S., but in smaller car markets like South Korea and Saudi Arabia, that many units means a huge impact for…

Electronic devices and social networking sites allow them to stay connected without having to spend valuable time traveling to see their friends. Still, it's a shame that something can't be done to combine the hip features of a Smartphone with the…
